If you have a long-awaited trip coming up, but you aren’t really sure how to properly pack and utilize the available space in your bag in the best possible way – just be sure to stay with us and keep on reading. Here are five useful packing tips from five fashion influencers, so check them out and pack your bags like a pro!

Pack the essentials only

Rebecca Minkoff, a renowned fashion designer who came up with luxury handbags, accessories, apparel, and footwear, has a very simple packing tip you may find useful. This lady claims that packing the essentials only is the key to a successful and stress-free trip. When talking about some exotic destinations, your essentials should include flowy, lightweight dresses, denim shorts, a pair of trendy sandals, a wide-brimmed hat, and the inevitable swimwear of your choice. Besides that, she thinks that rolling the clothes instead of folding them is a win-win situation – apart from saving you a lot of space in your bag, this technique also minimizes wrinkling.

Put your outfits together beforehand

Lisa Dengler, a fashion blogger who stands behind Just Another Fashion Blog, says that no matter what kind of a trip you’re up for, you should always put your outfits together beforehand. You can even take photos on your phone, so that you don’t forget to pack something. Apart from that, you can also pack some multipurpose pieces you can wear in a couple of different outfits. For example, stylish bandanas can be worn around your neck, wrist, or arm, and they even make a gorgeous hair band. Besides that, you can accessorize handles of your fave bag with them as well!

Always bring clothes you’ve already worn

Christina Caradona of Trop Rouge states that people often make a mistake of packing clothes they’ve never worn, thinking that their holiday is a perfect time to show them and get some amazing photos. Well, this is a completely wrong approach. First of all, if you’ve never worn certain garments, you can’t possibly know whether they’ll flatter your body or not, so you’re at risk of getting the worst photos in the world. Besides that, you probably won’t even feel comfortable in them, so be sure to pack garments you’ve already worn and match them in different ways, so that your combos look refreshed and fashionable.

A perfect swimsuit is an absolute must

Needless to say, a flawless swimsuit is an absolute must when talking about your summer holiday – especially if you’re up for some exotic destination. Picking perfect swimwear for your body type can be a bit tricky, but once that’s done, you’ll enjoy your holiday to the max. Fashion blogger Kayla Short of Short Presents recommends that you pack lots of swimsuits in different colors and patterns, so that you can mix and match and have a different combo in every photo. On the other hand, if you love simplicity, be sure to bring a fabulous monochromatic bikini in your favorite color. You won’t make a mistake with it either!

Don’t pack too many pairs of shoes

Even though women often tend to pack way too many pairs of shoes, just in case, fashion blogger Lainy Hedaya of Haute Inhabit says that two pairs of shoes are more than enough for your summer holiday. A pair of gorgeous, trendy sandals is absolutely inevitable, together with classic white sneakers that can be matched with literally anything – from feminine summer dresses, to striped shirts and denim shorts. If you need one more pair, pack your favorite heels and you’ll be just fine!

As you can see, there are a lot of things we can learn from fashion influencers when it comes to packing for a holiday. So, be sure to stick to our tips if you want to do it like a pro, and you’ll be good to go!
