DIY: Jeans to Pencil Skirt

Super easy way to turn a pair of Goodwill jeans to a cute pencil skirt. I bought high waisted Levi's from Goodwill, as I like high waisted EVERYTHING. You can always buy regular waisted jeans, if you prefer them. (One other tip: It's easier to make the skirt if your jeans already fit you. If their too big, you'll add an extra step of sewing and fitting the outer seam to you.)

DYI: Jeans to Jean Skirt

Super easy way to turn a pair of Goodwill jeans to a cute pencil skirt.

-Cut the inside seam of the legs (You can cut the outer seams if the jeans are too big for you, as well.)

-For the front, make a straight, clean stitch all the way down, cutting extra fabric out of the way.

-For the back seam, you MAY need to leave extra space if you are curvy like me. Just pin the seam together and try it on and adjust accordingly.
